Lara Salem joined SADER & Associates in 2010, as a legal consultant with an emphasis on special projects.
She brings with her a background in international law, information security and business continuity as well as project management.
She moved back to Beirut, Lebanon, where she expanded her expertise to the Lebanese banking sector. Having Lead projects dealing with the implementation of the Basel Convention Requirements Regarding Information Security in banks.
Salem has extensive experience in legal research, writing and providing advice to SADER & Associates’ clients. Recently she has been heading a legal compilation series for the UAE entitled the SADER Annotated Code Series, as well as providing counsel to the firm’s multinational clients on issues such as compliance with local legislation, competition law, agency and franchise agreements and providing updates on the status of intellectual property rights of clients. She has also been heading the special projects unit within SADER & Associates, which include the establishment of complex multinational agreements.

Her educational background comprises a BS in Political Science (1998), LL.L Civil Law (2002), LL.B Common Law (2003), all earned from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
